Overview:

Lesson 2 in the Design Document focused on conflict resolution strategies students can use to address workplace conflicts.

Problem:

As determined in the needs assessment, 6/10 students reported that they lacked confidence in responding to workplace conflicts or presenting concerns to their supervisors. 

Most felt unsure of how to respond to constructive criticism pertaining to their expected performance goals and/or job responsibilities.

Solution:

I designed a mini Rise 360 course that integrates scenario-based learning and role-play activities. Knowledge checks are embedded within the course to facilitate active engagement. 

Students would complete this mini assessment during their mock interview with a Career Center counselor.

This is my first project created using Rise 360. My favorite feature is the interactive scenario blocks. Creating dialogue and context that replicated a potential workplace conflict added an element of authenticity to enrich the learning experience.
